11 The Committee on Education Appropriations (Wise) recommended
12 the following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 4, between lines 27 and 28,

17 insert:
18 Section 3. Notwithstanding s. 1006.22(1) and (2),
19 Florida Statutes, if an isolated student attends a charter
20 school governed by a community college, the community college
21 shall generate school transportation funding according to ss.
22 1002.33(17)(b) and 1011.62, Florida Statutes. The board of
23 trustees of a community college governing a charter school may
24 include in its charter school contract a provision for
25 transportation of students by parents which is consistent with
26 s. 1002.33(20)(c), Florida Statutes, if the cost of
27 transportation service does not exceed the transportation
28 funds generated by this section.
