14 On page 4, lines 12-14, delete those lines
15
16 and insert:
17 Section 3. Paragraphs (f) and (g) of subsection (2)
18 and paragraph (f) of subsection (6) of section 775.21, Florida
19 Statutes, are amended to read:
20 775.21 The Florida Sexual Predators Act.--
21 (2) DEFINITIONS.--As used in this section, the term:
22 (f) "Permanent residence" means a place where the
23 person abides, lodges, or resides for 5 14 or more consecutive
24 days.
25 (g) "Temporary residence" means a place where the
26 person abides, lodges, or resides for a period of 5 14 or more
27 days in the aggregate during any calendar year and which is
28 not the person's permanent address or,; for a person whose
29 permanent residence is not in this state, a place where the
30 person is employed, practices a vocation, or is enrolled as a
31 student for any period of time in this state; or a place where

1 the person routinely abides, lodges, or resides for a period
2 of 4 or more consecutive or nonconsecutive days in any month
3 and which is not the person's permanent residence, including
4 any out-of-state address.

8 And the title is amended as follows:
9 On page 1, line 12, after the semicolon,
10
11 insert:
12 redefining the terms "permanent residence" and
13 "temporary residence" in order to reduce the
14 number of consecutive days and days in the
15 aggregate which constitute the residence of a
16 sexual predator for purposes of requirements
17 that the predator register with the Department
18 of Law Enforcement, the sheriff's office, or
19 the Department of Corrections;
