13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 9, line 24, through page 10, line 6, delete
15 those lines

17 and insert:
18 Section 11. This act shall apply to long-term care
19 insurance policies issued or renewed on or after July 1, 2006.
20 For any long-term care insurance policy issued prior to July
21 1, 2006, the provisions of section 1 of this act shall apply
22 to such policy only upon renewal of such policy on or after
23 July 1, 2008, and the policies shall so provide by endorsement
24 to the policy.
25 Section 12. This act shall take effect upon becoming a
26 law.
