11  The Committee on Justice Appropriations (Crist) recommended
12  the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 1, between lines 28 and 29,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 2.  Subsection (6) of section 35.22, Florida
19  Statutes, is amended to read:
20         35.22  Clerk of district court; appointment;
21  compensation; assistants; filing fees; teleconferencing.--
22         (6)  The clerk of each district court of appeal is
23  required to deposit all fees collected in the State Treasury
24  to the credit of the General Revenue Fund, except that $50 of
25  each $300 filing fee collected shall be deposited into the
26  state court's Operating Grants and Donations Trust Fund to
27  fund court improvement projects as authorized in the General
28  Appropriations Act. The clerk shall retain an accounting of
29  each such remittance.
