5 for sources of funds and purposes; providing
6 for future review and termination or
7 re-creation of the trust fund; providing an
8 effective date.

10 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12 Section 1. Section 25.3844, Florida Statutes, is
13 created to read:
14 25.3844 Operating Trust Fund.--
15 (1) The Operating Trust Fund is created within the
16 state courts system.
17 (2) The fund is established for use as a depository of
18 fees and related revenue for the purpose of supporting the
19 program operations of the judicial branch and for such other
20 purposes as may be appropriate and shall be expended only
21 pursuant to legislative appropriation or an approved amendment
22 to the agency's operating budget pursuant to the provisions of
23 chapter 216.
24 (3) In accordance with s. 19(f)(2), Art. III of the
25 State Constitution, the Operating Trust Fund shall, unless
26 terminated sooner, be terminated on July 1, 2010. Before its
27 scheduled termination, the trust fund shall be reviewed as
28 provided in s. 215.3206(1) and (2).
29 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
