12 recommended the following amendment to amendment (503744):

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 11, lines 2-7, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 (10) This section does not apply to an enforcing
19 authority or to any claim, action, or proceeding brought
20 pursuant to Rule 1.220, Florida Rules of Civil Procedure. The
21 Department of Legal Affairs shall prepare a sample demand
22 letter to incorporate the information required by subsection
23 (2) for individual notice of claims and make it available to
24 the public.
25 (11) The mailing of the notice required by this
26 section tolls the applicable statute of limitations for an
27 action under this part for 30 days or such other period as
28 agreed to by the parties in writing.
29 (12) If a claimant initiates civil litigation under
