11  The Committee on Criminal Justice (Haridopolos) recommended
12  the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 5, line 27, through
16            page 6, line 7, delete those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         (k)  An applicant for license as an adjuster who has
20  the designation of Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) from a
21  regionally accredited postsecondary institution in this state,
22  or the designation of Professional Claims Adjuster (PCA) from
23  the Professional Career Institute, whose curriculum has been
24  approved by the department and whose curriculum includes
25  comprehensive analysis of basic property and casualty lines of
26  insurance and testing at least equal to that of standard
27  department testing for the all-lines adjuster license, or the
28  designation of Professional Property Insurance Adjuster (PPIA)
29  from the HurriClaim Training Academy, whose curriculum has
30  been approved by the department and whose curriculum includes
31  comprehensive analysis of basic property and casualty lines of
