11  The Committee on Education (King) recommended the following
12  amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 60, lines 15 and 16, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  screening standards or who has been convicted of,
18  regardless of adjudication, or entered a plea of nolo
19  contendere to, a crime involving moral turpitude. The
20  Department of Education shall verify the information by
21  comparing the state and national criminal records checks
22  provided by the Department of Law Enforcement with the results
23  reported by the private school.
