  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the use of Tasers on a

  3         person 16 years of age or younger; prohibiting

  4         the use of a Taser or similar device on a

  5         person 16 years of age or younger who is in a

  6         school or on the grounds of a school that

  7         includes specified grade levels; providing an

  8         effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  Use of certain stun guns on a person 16

13  years of age or younger who is on school grounds.--A person,

14  including, but not limited to, a law enforcement officer, may

15  not use a Taser stun gun or a similar conductive-energy device

16  on a person 16 years of age or younger who is in a school that

17  includes any grade level from prekindergarten through grade 12

18  or who is on the grounds of such a school.

19         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

20  law.

24    Prohibits anyone using a Taser or similar device on a
      person who is 16 years of age or younger who is in a
25    school or on the grounds of a school.
