15 On page 12, following line 31,

17 insert:
18 Section 5. Paragraph (qq) of subsection (1) of section
19 216.011, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
20 216.011 Definitions.--
21 (1) For the purpose of fiscal affairs of the state,
22 appropriations acts, legislative budgets, and approved
23 budgets, each of the following terms has the meaning
24 indicated:
25 (qq) "State agency" or "agency" means any official,
26 officer, commission, board, authority, council, committee, or
27 department of the executive branch of state government. For
28 purposes of this chapter and chapter 215, "state agency" or
29 "agency" includes, but is not limited to, state attorneys,
30 public defenders, the capital collateral regional counsels,
31 the Justice Administrative Commission, the Florida Housing

1 Finance Corporation, and the Florida Public Service
2 Commission. Solely for the purposes of implementing s. 19(h),
3 Art. III of the State Constitution, the terms "state agency"
4 or "agency" include the judicial branch.
