  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to congenital craniofacial

  3         anomalies; requiring the Agency for Health Care

  4         Administration to mandate health insurers and

  5         health maintenance organizations to cover

  6         certain treatments and therapies for

  7         deformational or positional plagiocephaly;

  8         providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  The Agency for Health Care Administration

13  shall require health insurers and health maintenance

14  organizations in this state to provide coverage for cranial

15  skull molding orthotics and other therapies used in the

16  treatment of deformational or positional plagiocephaly.

17         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

18  law.
