3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Between lines 42 and 43 insert:
5     Section 2.  Section 817.357, Florida Statutes, is created
6to read:
7     817.357  Purchase of tickets.--Whoever knowingly purchases
8from the original seller and intends to resell a quantity of
9tickets to an event that exceeds the maximum amount posted by or
10on behalf of the original ticket seller at the point of original
11sale or printed on the tickets themselves commits a misdemeanor
12of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s.
13775.083. No person or firm shall have any liability under this
14section with respect to tickets for which that person or firm is
15the original ticket seller or for which that person or firm
16provides contracted services for such original ticket seller in
17connection with such sales.

20     Remove line 11 and insert:
21Act in certain circumstances; creating s. 817.357, F.S.;
22prohibiting the purchase of tickets in excess of the maximum
23number allowed as posted in specified ways with the intent to

25amending s. 817.36, F.S.;
