8 | (6) By January 1, 2008, each district school board shall |
9 | submit to the department a plan to eliminate the sale or use of |
10 | products containing high-fructose corn syrup from school food |
11 | service programs and on school grounds. The plan must contain a |
12 | schedule to accomplish the elimination of products containing |
13 | high-fructose corn syrup by July 1, 2008, and must be approved |
14 | by the department. The department shall monitor the |
15 | implementation of each district school board's plan and provide |
16 | a report on such implementation to the President of the Senate |
17 | and the Speaker of the House of Representatives by January 1, |
18 | 2009, and annually thereafter. |

49 | plans, monitoring of plan implementation, and reporting; |
