4     Between lines 561 and 562, insert:
5     Section 12.  Subsection (7) of section 1002.23, Florida
6Statutes, is amended to read:
7     1002.23  Family and School Partnership for Student
8Achievement Act.--
9     (7)  Each school district shall develop and disseminate a
10parent guide to successful student achievement, consistent with
11the guidelines of the Department of Education, which addresses
12what parents need to know about their child's educational
13progress and how parents can help their child to succeed in
14school. The guide must:
15     (a)  Be understandable to students and parents;
16     (b)  Be distributed to all parents, students, and school
17personnel at the beginning of each school year;
18     (c)  Be discussed at the beginning of each school year in
19meetings of students, parents, and teachers; and
20     (d)  Include information concerning services,
21opportunities, choices, academic standards, and student
22assessment; and.
23     (e)  Provide information or an electronic link to
24information regarding the causes, symptoms, and transmission of
25meningococcal disease and the availability, effectiveness, known
26contraindications, and appropriate age for the administration of
27any required or recommended vaccine against meningococcal
28disease in accordance with the recommendations of the Advisory
29Committee on Immunization Practices of the United States Centers
30for Disease Control and Prevention.

32The parent guide may be included as a part of the code of
33student conduct that is required in s. 1006.07(2).
34     Section 13.  Subsection (6) of section 1002.42, Florida
35Statutes, is amended to read:
36     1002.42  Private schools.--
37     (6)  IMMUNIZATIONS.--The governing authority of each
38private school shall:
39     (a)  Require students to present a certification of
40immunization in accordance with the provisions of s. 1003.22(3)-
41(11).
42     (b)  Provide information or an electronic link to
43information to each student's parent regarding the causes,
44symptoms, and transmission of meningococcal disease and the
45availability, effectiveness, known contraindications, and
46appropriate age for the administration of any required or
47recommended vaccine against meningococcal disease in accordance
48with the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on
49Immunization Practices of the United States Centers for Disease
50Control and Prevention.

74providing requirements; providing an exception; amending
75s. 499.0121, F.S.; requiring certain wholesale
76distributors taking title to a prescription drug to
77provide an invoice to the purchaser containing certain
78information; requiring a purchaser of a prescription drug
79to obtain from the manufacturer a shipping document
80containing specified information; requiring a manufacturer
81to make certain information available to the department;
82authorizing the department to adopt certain rules relating
83to the inventory and return of certain prescription drugs;
84amending s. 499.0122, F.S.; redefining the term
85"veterinary legend drug retail establishment"; amending s.
86499.041, F.S.; requiring the department to assess an
87annual fee within a certain monetary range for a limited
88prescription drug veterinary wholesaler permit; amending
89s. 499.065, F.S.; requiring the department to inspect each
90limited prescription drug veterinary wholesaler
91establishment; authorizing the department to determine
92that a limited prescription drug veterinary wholesaler
93establishment is an imminent danger to the public;
94amending s. 499.0661, F.S.; providing for emergency
95suspension of a permittee if charged with specified
96violations; requiring the department to publish a list of
97certain permittee names; amending s. 499.067, F.S.;
98prohibiting issuance of permits to specified applicants;
99requiring revocation of permits of specified permittees;
100amending s. 1002.23, F.S.; requiring school districts to
101provide certain information concerning meningococcal
102disease in a parent guide; amending s. 1002.42, F.S.;
103requiring the governing authority of a private school to
