3     Amendment (with title amendment)
4     Remove line(s) 1647-1650 and insert:
5     Section 16.  The sum of $243,557 is appropriated from the
6General Revenue Fund to the Executive Office of the Governor for
7the establishment of the Office of Child Abuse Prevention,
8$236,376 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of
9Children and Family Services to handle the increase workload as
10a result of the mandatory reporting requirement for public
11school personnel, and $2,802,522 from the General Revenue Fund
12and $3,994,766 from the Medical Care Trust Fund to the Agency
13for Health Care Administration to fund the Medicaid expansion.
14     Section 17.  Sections 1, 2, 4, and 13 of this act shall
15take effect July 1, 2006, to fund the provisions identified in
16section 16.
17     Section 18.  The remaining sections of this act that do not
18require a specific appropriation shall take effect on July 1,
192006.
20     Section 19.  Section 11 of this act shall take effect July
211, 2006, only if a specific appropriation to fund the provisions
22of that section is made in the General Appropriations Act for
23fiscal year 2006-2007.
