5Between lines 282-283 insert:
6     (d)  Medicaid benefits.--When the Agency for Health Care
7Administration provides, pays, or becomes liable for medical
8assistance under the Medicaid program related to injury,
9sickness, disease, or death arising out of the ownership,
10maintenance, or use of a motor vehicle, benefits under ss.
11627.730-627.7405 shall be subject to the provisions of the
12Medicaid program.
13     (e)  In addition to the medical benefits contained in
14subsection (1)(a), additional benefits for emergency services
15and care, as defined in s. 395.002(10), of up to $10,000, are
16available. Emergency services and care must be rendered in a
17hospital by physicians in an emergency department, trauma center
18or in-patient departments, when such services are determined by
19the treating physician to be the result of a motor vehicle
20accident. The additional emergency services and care benefit
21must be rendered to the named insured, the named insured's
22spouse, parents by blood or marriage, stepparents and
23stepchildren, and children, natural or adopted, who reside in
24the same household. Only emergency services and care rendered
25pursuant to s. 395.002(10) or transport and treatment rendered
26by an ambulance provider licensed pursuant to part III of
27chapter 401 may be paid from the benefit. All such bills shall
28be submitted on a UB 92 or CMS1500 form or their approved
29successor forms.
