14Expressway in Orange County; designating Toussaint
15L'Ouverture Boulevard in Miami-Dade County; repealing s.
166, ch. 2003-296, Laws of Florida, relating to a prior
17designation of Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard;
18designating Reverend Gerard Jean-Juste Boulevard in Miami-
19Dade County; directing the Department of Transportation to
20erect suitable markers; providing an effective date.

22Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:
23
24     Section 1.  Ms. Eddie Mae Steward Avenue designated;
25Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
26     (1)  That portion of Main Street between West 6th Street
27and West 8th Street in Duval County is designated as "Ms. Eddie
28Mae Steward Avenue."
29     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
30suitable markers designating Ms. Eddie Mae Steward Avenue as
31described in subsection (1).
32     Section 2.  Dr. Mary L. Austin Jones Avenue designated;
33Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
34     (1)  That portion of Main Street between West 37th Street
35and West 46th Street in Duval County is designated as "Dr. Mary
36L. Austin Jones Avenue."
37     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
38suitable markers designating Dr. Mary L. Austin Jones Avenue as
39described in subsection (1).
40     Section 3.  Mrs. Flossie Brunson Avenue designated;
41Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
42     (1)  That portion of Main Street between West 8th Street
43and West 18th Street in Duval County is designated as "Mrs.
44Flossie Brunson Avenue."
45     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
46suitable markers designating Mrs. Flossie Brunson Avenue as
47described in subsection (1).
48     Section 4.  Dr. Robert L. Brown, Sr., Highway designated;
49Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
50     (1)  That portion of U.S. Highway 1 between Finch Avenue
51and Trout River Boulevard in Duval County is designated as "Dr.
52Robert L. Brown, Sr., Highway."
53     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
54suitable markers designating Dr. Robert L. Brown, Sr., Highway
55as described in subsection (1).
56     Section 5.  Ms. Barbara Van Blake Parkway designated;
57Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
58     (1)  That portion of Lem Turner Road between Interstate 95
59and Edgewood Avenue in Duval County is designated as "Ms.
60Barbara Van Blake Parkway."
61     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
62suitable markers designating Ms. Barbara Van Blake Parkway as
63described in subsection (1).
64     Section 6.  Ms. MaVynee "The Beach Lady" Betsch Highway
65designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
66markers.--
67     (1)  That portion of Florida First Coast Highway beginning
68at Burney Road and continuing north through the 5500 block of
69Florida First Coast Highway in Nassau County is designated as
70"Ms. MaVynee 'The Beach Lady' Betsch Highway."
71     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
72suitable markers designating Ms. MaVynee "The Beach Lady" Betsch
73Highway as described in subsection (1).
74     Section 7.  Brian D. Little Road designated; Department of
75Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
76     (1)  That portion of State Road 188 between State Road 189
77and State Road 85 in Okaloosa County is designated as "Brian D.
78Little Road."
79     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
80suitable markers designating Brian D. Little Road as described
81in subsection (1).
82     Section 8.  John Land Apopka Expressway designated;
83Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers.--
84     (1)  That portion of State Road 414 known as Maitland
85Boulevard that extends west from U.S. Highway 441 to the City of
86Apopka before heading north to U.S. Highway 441 near County Road
87437, which is commonly known as Maitland Boulevard Extension, is
88designated as "John Land Apopka Expressway."
89     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
90suitable markers designating John Land Apopka Expressway as
91described in subsection (1).
92     Section 9.  Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard designated;
93Department of Transportation to erect suitable markers; repeal
94of prior designation.--
95     (1)  That portion of State Road 944 on N.W. 54th Street
96between U.S. Highway 1 and N.E. 2nd Avenue in Miami-Dade County
97is designated as "Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard."
98     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
99suitable markers designating Toussaint L'Ouverture Boulevard as
100described in subsection (1).
101     (3)  Section 6 of chapter 2003-296, Laws of Florida, is
102repealed.
103     Section 10.  Reverend Gerard Jean-Juste Boulevard
104designated; Department of Transportation to erect suitable
105markers.--
106     (1)  That portion of State Road 944 on N.W. 54th Street
107between N.E. 2nd Avenue and N.W. 7th Avenue in Miami-Dade County
108is designated as "Reverend Gerard Jean-Juste Boulevard."
109     (2)  The Department of Transportation is directed to erect
110suitable markers designating Reverend Gerard Jean-Juste
111Boulevard as described in subsection (1).
112     Section 11.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
