  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to distributions from the Fuel

  3         Tax Collection Trust Fund; amending s.

  4         206.9945, F.S.; providing for the distribution

  5         of funds to the Florida Coastal Protection

  6         Trust Fund and the Inland Protection Trust

  7         Fund; providing an effective date.

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10  

11         Section 1.  Subsection (1) of section 206.9945, Florida

12  Statutes, is amended to read:

13         206.9945  Funds collected; disposition; department

14  authority.--

15         (1)  The department shall deposit all funds received

16  and collected by it under this part into the Fuel Tax

17  Collection Trust Fund to be transferred, less the costs of

18  administration and less the service charges to be deducted

19  pursuant to s. 215.20, as follows:

20         (a)  Moneys collected pursuant to s. 206.9935(1) and

21  tax revenues collected pursuant to s. 207.003 at the rates

22  specified in s. 206.9935(3) shall be transferred to the

23  Florida Coastal Protection Trust Fund as provided in s.

24  376.11;

25         (b)  Moneys collected pursuant to s. 206.9935(2) shall

26  be transferred to the Water Quality Assurance Trust Fund as

27  provided in s. 376.307; and

28         (c)  Moneys collected pursuant to s. 206.9935(3), less

29  any refunds granted under s. 206.9942, shall be transferred to

30  the Inland Protection Trust Fund as provided in s. 376.3071.

 1  This paragraph does not apply to moneys collected pursuant to

 2  s. 207.003 and transferred pursuant to paragraph (a).

 3         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2006.
