11 The Committee on Finance and Tax (Haridopolos) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment
15 On page 2, lines 23 and 24, delete those lines
16
17 and insert: reasonably identifies the disability as
18 combat-related;
19 (c) A copy of the veteran's honorable discharge; and
20 (d) Proof of age as of January 1 of the year to which
21 the discount will apply.

23 Any applicant who is qualified to receive a discount under
24 this section and who fails to file an application by March 1
25 may file an application for the discount and may file,
26 pursuant to s. 194.011(3), a petition with the value
27 adjustment board requesting that the discount be granted. Such
28 application and petition shall be subject to the same
29 procedures as for exemptions set forth in s. 196.011(8).
