| 4 | Remove lines 382-393 and insert: |
| 5 | any civil or criminal proceeding relating to a violation of this |
| 6 | chapter in which the declarant is a party, except in any |
| 7 | proceeding against the declarant for perjury or making a false |
| 8 | statement or report. However, the declarant may admit the |
| 9 | information if the rules of evidence otherwise permit it. |
| 10 | (b) Information discovered as a result of information |
| 11 | provided under paragraph (a) shall not be admissible in evidence |
| 12 | against the declarant in any civil or criminal proceeding |
| 13 | relating to a violation of this chapter in which the declarant |
| 14 | is a party, except in any proceeding against the declarant for |
| 15 | perjury or making false statement or report. However, the |
| 16 | declarant may admit the information if the rules of evidence |
| 17 | otherwise permit. |
