11  The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 Appropriations (Siplin)
12  recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 15, lines 10-18, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  pursuant to s. 1003.492.--A value of 0.3
18  full-time equivalent student membership shall be calculated
19  for each student who is enrolled in an industry-certified
20  career and professional academy program pursuant to s.
21  1003.492 and who is awarded a certificate of successful
22  completion. Such value shall be added to the total full-time
23  equivalent student membership in secondary career education
24  programs for grades 9 through 12 in the subsequent year for
25  courses that were not funded through dual enrollment. Unless a
26  different amount is specified in the General Appropriations
27  Act, the appropriation for this calculation is limited to $30
28  million annually. If the appropriation is insufficient to
29  fully fund the total calculation, the appropriation shall be
30  prorated.
