11  The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 Appropriations (Wise and
12  Siplin) recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 26, line 29, through
16            page 27, line 4, delete those lines
17  
18  and insert:  emphasis on history, government, and civics as
19  required under s. 1001.03(1)(b);, and mathematics. Other
20  content areas may be included as directed by the commissioner.
21  The assessment of reading and mathematics shall be
22  administered annually in grades 3 through 10. The assessment
23  of writing, and science, and social studies, beginning with
24  the 2012-2013 school year, shall be administered at least once
25  at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. The content
