| 8 | 624.46226 Public housing authorities self-insurance funds; |
| 9 | exemption for taxation and assessments.-- |
| 10 | (1) Any two or more public housing authorities in the |
| 11 | state as defined in chapter 421 may also create a self-insurance |
| 12 | fund as defined in s. 624.4622 for the purpose of self-insuring |
| 13 | real or personal property of every kind and every interest in |
| 14 | such property against loss or damage from any hazard or cause |
| 15 | and against any loss consequential to such loss or damage, |
| 16 | provided all the provisions of s. 624.4622 are met. |
| 17 | (2) Any public housing authority in the state as defined |
| 18 | in chapter 421 that is a member of a self-insurance fund |
| 19 | pursuant to this section shall be exempt from the assessments |
| 20 | imposed under ss. 627.351, 631.57, and 215.555. |
