14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 72, between lines 9 and 10,

17 insert:
18 Section 59. Subsection (1) of section 627.06281,
19 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
20 627.06281 Public hurricane loss projection model;
21 reporting of data by insurers.--
22 (1) Within 30 days after a written request for loss
23 data and associated exposure data by the office or the Florida
24 International University a type I center within the State
25 University System established to study mitigation, residential
26 property insurers and licensed rating and advisory
27 organizations that compile residential property insurance loss
28 data shall provide loss data and associated exposure data for
29 residential property insurance policies to the office or the
30 Florida International University to a type I center within the
31 State University System established to study mitigation, as

1 directed by the office, for the purposes of developing,
2 maintaining, and updating a public model for hurricane loss
3 projections. The loss data and associated exposure data
4 provided shall be in writing.
5 Section 60. Subsection (1) of section 627.06292,
6 Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
7 627.06292 Reports of hurricane loss data and
8 associated exposure data; public records exemption.--
9 (1) Reports of hurricane loss data and associated
10 exposure data that are specific to a particular insurance
11 company, as reported by an insurer or a licensed rating
12 organization to the office or to a type I center at a state
13 university pursuant to s. 627.06281, are exempt from s.
14 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution.
