15 On page 97, lines 10 through 15, delete those lines

17 and insert:
18 Section 69. Paragraphs (c) and (d) of subsection (1),
19 paragraph (a) of subsection (2), and subsection (3) of section
20 1001.11, Florida Statutes, are amended to read:
21 1001.11 Commissioner of Education; other duties.--
22 (1) The Commissioner of Education must independently
23 perform the following duties:
24 (c) In cooperation with the Board of Governors,
25 develop and implement a process for receiving and processing
26 requests, in conjunction with the Legislature, for the
27 allocation of PECO funds for qualified postsecondary education
28 projects.
