| 5 | 411, Laws of Florida, relating to the future repeal of |
| 6 | provisions of the Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law, to |
| 7 | abrogate that repeal; providing an effective date. |

| 9 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 10 |
|
| 11 | Section 1. (1) For the 2007-2008 fiscal year, the sums of |
| 12 | $415,291 in recurring funds and $52,430 in nonrecurring funds are |
| 13 | appropriated from the Insurance Regulatory Trust Fund of the |
| 14 | Department of Financial Services to the Division of Insurance |
| 15 | Fraud within the department and 10 full-time equivalent positions |
| 16 | and associated salary rate of 342,500 are authorized. This |
| 17 | appropriation is for the purposes of investigations of motor |
| 18 | vehicle insurance fraud by the Division of Insurance Fraud or the |
| 19 | Department of Financial Services pursuant to s. 626.989, Florida |
| 20 | Statutes. |
| 21 | (2) For the 2007-2008 fiscal year, the sum of $750,000 in |
| 22 | recurring funds is appropriated from the Insurance Regulatory |
| 23 | Trust Fund and divided into six equal amounts, each equal amount |
| 24 | to be allocated to the State Attorneys for the 4th, 6th, 9th, |
| 25 | 13th, 15th, and 17th Circuits to establish and fund an |
| 26 | additional assistant state attorney position in each circuit for |
| 27 | the purpose of prosecuting cases of motor vehicle insurance |
| 28 | fraud. |
| 29 | Section 2. Section 19 of chapter 2003-411, Laws of |
| 30 | Florida, is repealed. |
| 31 | Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
