5 | d. The provision of adequate sites for future housing, |
6 | including housing for low-income, very low-income, and moderate- |
7 | income families, affordable workforce housing as defined in s. |
8 | 380.0651(3)(j), mobile homes, and group home facilities and |
9 | foster care facilities, with supporting infrastructure and |
10 | public facilities. |
11 | e. The provision of for relocation housing and |
12 | identification of historically significant and other housing for |
13 | purposes of conservation, rehabilitation, or replacement. |
14 | f. The formulation of housing implementation programs. |
15 | g. The creation or preservation of affordable housing to |
16 | minimize the need for additional local services and avoid the |
17 | concentration of affordable housing units only in specific areas |
18 | of the jurisdiction. |
19 | h. The provision of housing adjacent to or closely |
20 | proximate to employment centers that reduce trip lengths and is |
21 | affordable to the employees and persons served by the employment |
22 | center. |
23 | i. By July 1, 2008, each county in which the gap between |
24 | the buying power of a family of four and the median county home |
25 | sale price exceeds $150,000, as determined by the Florida |
26 | Housing Finance Corporation, and which is not designated as an |
27 | area of critical state concern shall adopt a plan for ensuring |
28 | affordable workforce housing, as defined in s. 380.0651(3)(j). |
29 | At a minimum, the plan shall identify adequate sites for such |
30 | housing. For purposes of this sub-subparagraph, the term |
31 | "workforce housing" means housing that is affordable to natural |
32 | persons or families whose total household income does not exceed |
33 | 140 percent of the area median income, adjusted for household |
34 | size. |
35 | j. Failure by a local government to comply with the |
36 | requirement of sub-subparagraph h. will result in the local |
37 | government being ineligible to receive any state housing |
38 | assistance grants until the requirement of sub-subparagraph h. |
