| 10 | consumption within the Tampa Bay History Center building |
| 11 | and grounds; providing for removal from the premises of |
| 12 | partially consumed, open containers; providing for |
| 13 | transfer of the license; providing an effective date. |

| 15 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 16 |

| 17 | Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the |
| 18 | Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco of the Department of |
| 19 | Business and Professional Regulation is authorized, upon |
| 20 | application, to issue an alcoholic beverage license in accordance |
| 21 | with section 561.17, Florida Statutes, to the Tampa Bay History |
| 22 | Center, Inc., a corporation not for profit (the "corporation") |
| 23 | located in Hillsborough County, for use by the corporation solely |
| 24 | within the building known as the Tampa Bay History Center and the |
| 25 | adjoining grounds under lease to the corporation (the "leased |
| 26 | grounds") located at 801 St. Pete Times Forum Drive in Tampa. The |
| 27 | corporation shall pay the applicable license fee provided in |
| 28 | section 565.02, Florida Statutes. The license may be used for |
| 29 | special events only. |
| 30 | Section 2. Alcoholic beverages may be sold by the |
| 31 | corporation for consumption within the Tampa Bay History Center |
| 32 | and the leased grounds. The license issued pursuant to this act |
| 33 | shall not permit the sale of alcoholic beverages in sealed |
| 34 | containers for consumption outside the Tampa Bay History Center |
| 35 | or the leased grounds. Nothing in this act shall prevent a |
| 36 | purchaser of such alcoholic beverages from removing an opened, |
| 37 | partially consumed container of alcoholic beverage from the |
| 38 | premises of the Tampa Bay History Center or the leased grounds. |
| 39 | Section 3. The corporation may transfer the license from |
| 40 | time to time to qualified applicants who are either authorized by |
| 41 | or under contract with the corporation to provide food services |
| 42 | at the Tampa Bay History Center. Upon termination of a |
| 43 | transferee's authorization or contract, the license shall |
| 44 | automatically revert by operation of law to the corporation. |
| 45 | Section 4. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. |
