12 (Jones) recommended the following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 1, lines 15-20, delete those lines
16
17 and insert:
18 (3) A local government may submit up to three two
19 grant applications during each application period announced by
20 the department. However, a local government may not have more
21 than four three active projects expending grant funds during
22 any state fiscal year. The maximum project grant for each
23 project application may not exceed $500,000 $200,000 in state
24 funds.
