13 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
14 On page 2, between lines 3 and 4,

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Subsection (4) of section 250.22, Florida
18 Statutes, is amended to read:
19 250.22 Retirement.--
20 (4) In computing time of service of an officer or
21 enlisted person in the Florida National Guard for purposes of
22 retirement under this section, service in federal military
23 forces during the period from August 27, 1940, to December 31,
24 1946, from June 29, 1950, to January 31, 1955, from August 5,
25 1964, to May 7, 1975, and from August 1, 1990, to September 1,
26 1991, during Operation Enduring Freedom beginning on October
27 7, 2001, and ending on the date thereafter prescribed by
28 presidential proclamation or by law, and during Operation
29 Iraqi Freedom beginning on March 19, 2003, and ending on the
30 date thereafter prescribed by presidential proclamation or by
31 law, all dates inclusive, when inducted into such federal

2 double the time of actual service.

10 amending s. 250.22, F.S.; increasing credit for
