  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the University of West

  3         Florida; creating s. 1004.386, F.S.;

  4         authorizing master of science degree programs

  5         in nursing and social work; providing an

  6         effective date.

  8  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

  9  

10         Section 1.  Section 1004.386, Florida Statutes, is

11  created to read:

12         1004.386  Master of science degree programs in nursing

13  and social work at the University of West Florida.--

14         (1)  A master of science degree program in nursing is

15  authorized at the University of West Florida.

16         (2)  A master of science degree program in social work

17  is authorized at the University of West Florida.

18         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.
