12 recommended the following amendment:

15 On page 1, lines 20-31, delete those lines
16
17 and insert: (4) Any person seeking a license as an
18 auctioneer must pass a written examination approved by the
19 board which tests his or her general knowledge of the laws of
20 this state relating to provisions of the Uniform Commercial
21 Code that are relevant to auctions, the laws of agency, and
22 the provisions of this act. By department rule each applicant
23 must file a complete set of fingerprints in electronic format
24 that have been taken by an authorized agency or vendor
25 pursuant to department rule. The fingerprints shall be
26 submitted to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for
27 state processing, and the Department of Law Enforcement shall
28 forward them to the Federal Bureau of Investigations for
29 national processing. The board shall review the background
30 results to determine if an applicant meets licensure
31 requirements. The cost for fingerprint processing shall be

1 borne by the person subject to the background screening.
2 These fees are to be collected by the authorized agencies and
3 vendors. The authorized agencies and vendors are responsible
4 for paying for the costs of processing to the Florida
5 Department of Law Enforcement.
