13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 20, between lines 2 and 3,

16  insert:  
17         Section 5.  Paragraph (f) of subsection (3) of section
18  626.2815, Florida Statutes, as amended by chapter 2007-1, Laws
19  of Florida, is amended to read:
20         626.2815  Continuing education required; application;
21  exceptions; requirements; penalties.--

23         (f)  Compliance with continuing education requirements
24  is a condition precedent to the issuance, continuation,
25  reinstatement, or renewal of any appointment subject to this
26  section. An insurance licensee taking a continuing education
27  course, regardless of whether it is a classroom, online, or
28  home study course, may take the required final examination in
29  a proctored location, via the online provider, or by open book
30  if the course offered meets all requirements for continuing
31  education.
