11  The Committee on Environmental Preservation and Conservation
12  (Saunders) recommended the following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with directory amendment) 
15         On page 7, between lines 19 and 20,
16  
17  insert:  
18         (a)  An annual Florida waterfowl permit for a resident
19  or nonresident to take wild ducks or geese within the state or
20  its coastal waters is $10$3.
21         (b)1.  An annual Florida turkey permit for a resident
22  to take wild turkeys within the state is $10 $5.
23         2.  An annual Florida turkey permit for a nonresident
24  to take wild turkeys within the state is $100.
25         (c)  An annual snook permit for a resident or
26  nonresident to take or possess any snook from any waters of
27  the state is $10$2. Revenue generated from the sale of snook
28  permits shall be used exclusively on law enforcement,
29  management, research, stock enhancement and public education
30  that directly benefits the snook population. The commission
31  shall provide a complete and detailed annual report on

 1  activities performed under this section to the Governor,
 2  President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of
 3  Representatives on or before September 1 of each year.  for
 4  programs to benefit the snook population.
