11  The Committee on Environmental Preservation and Conservation
12  (Saunders, Rich, and Gaetz) recommended the following
13  amendment:

15         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
16         On page 3, line 25 through page 4, line 25, delete
17  those lines
18  
19  and insert:  
20  water from land or from a structure fixed to the land.
21         (i)  Any person saltwater fishing from a vessel
22  licensed pursuant to s. 372.57(7).
23         (j)  Any person saltwater fishing from a vessel the
24  operator of which is licensed pursuant to s. 372.57(7).
25         (k)  Any person saltwater fishing who holds a valid
26  saltwater products license issued under s. 370.06(2).
27         (l)  Any person saltwater fishing for recreational
28  purposes from a pier licensed under s. 372.57.
29         (m)  Any resident fishing for a saltwater species in
30  fresh water from land or from a structure fixed to land.
31         (n)  Any resident fishing for mullet in fresh water who

Florida Senate - 2007 COMMITTEE AMENDMENT Bill No. SB 1982 Barcode 694716 1 has a valid Florida freshwater fishing license. 2 (o) Any resident 65 years of age or older who has in 3 her or his possession proof of age and residency. A no-cost 4 license under this paragraph may be obtained from any tax 5 collector's office upon proof of age and residency and must be 6 in the possession of the resident during hunting, freshwater 7 fishing, and saltwater fishing activities. 8 (p) Any employee of the commission who takes 9 freshwater fish, saltwater fish, or game as part of employment 10 with the commission, or any other person authorized by 11 commission permit to take freshwater fish, saltwater fish, or 12 game for scientific or educational purposes. 13 (q) Any resident who holds a valid commercial fishing 14 license issued under s. 372.65(1)(a). 15 16 17 ================ T I T L E A M E N D M E N T =============== 18 And the title is amended as follows: 19 On page 1, lines 12 through 23, delete those lines 20 21 and insert: 22 revising the exemptions under which a person 23 need not possess a license in order to fish in 24 salt water or fresh water; amending s. 372.57, 25 F.S.; 26 27 28 29 30 31 2 11:39 AM 03/07/07 s1982.ep37.02a
