11  Senator Aronberg moved the following amendment:
12  
13         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
14         On page 1, line 20, through
15            page 2, line 3, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         (1)  A No parent, legal guardian, or other person
19  responsible for a child younger than 6 years of age may not
20  shall leave such child unattended or unsupervised in a motor
21  vehicle:
22         (a)  For a period in excess of 15 minutes; or however,
23  no such person shall leave a child unattended
24         (b)  For any period of time if the motor of the vehicle
25  is running or the health of the child is in danger.
26         (2)(a)  Any person who violates subsection (1)(b) the
27  provisions of subsection (1) is guilty of a noncriminal
28  traffic infraction, punishable by a fine of:
29         1.(a)  Not more than $100; or
30         2.(b)  Not less than $50 and not more than $500 if the
31  motor of the vehicle was running or the health of the child
