11  The Committee on Community Affairs (Wise) recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 2, between lines 27 and 28,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 4.  Section 191.016, Florida Statutes, is
19  created to read:
20         191.016  Annexations within fire control districts.--
21         (1)  For the purposes of s. 175.101(1), the boundaries
22  of a district include the annexed area until the completion of
23  the 4-year period provided under s. 171.093(4), or any
24  extension mutually agreed upon by the district and the
25  municipality, or until the termination of an interlocal
26  agreement executed under s. 171.093(3).
27         (2)  An annexing municipality shall pay the district
28  payments required under s. 171.093(4)(a) by March 31 of each
29  of the 4 years provided for in s. 171.093(4) or any extension
30  mutually agreed upon by the district and the municipality.
31  However, the annexing municipality is not required to pay the

 1  district moneys that have not been paid on a specific parcel
 2  until such time as the moneys have been received by the
 3  annexing municipality. Within 30 days after receipt, the
 4  annexing municipality shall make payment of such moneys to the
 5  district.

12         On page 1, line 11, after the second semicolon,

14  insert:
15         creating s. 191.016, F.S.; providing for

18         municipalities to pay moneys to the district;
