11  The Committee on Children, Families, and Elder Affairs
12  (Storms) recommended the following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with title amendment) 
15         On page 74, between lines 10 and 11,
16  
17  insert:  
18         Section 38.  The sum of $50,000 in nonrecurring general
19  revenue is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
20  One Church, One Child of Florida Corporation for the purpose
21  of funding the activities of the corporation for the 2007-2008
22  fiscal year as provided in s. 409.1755, Florida Statutes. In
23  addition, the sum of $50,000 in nonrecurring general revenue
24  is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
25  Department of Children and Family Services for the purpose of
26  contracting with the One Church, One Child of Florida
27  Corporation for the preparation of a business plan that
28  includes, but is not limited to, a plan for development of a
29  private foundation to support the corporation and a plan for
30  making the corporation's adoption fees competitive with other
31  adoption agencies that contract with the department or the

 1  department's community-based care providers. The business plan
 2  must be completed and submitted for the department's approval
 3  by June 1, 2008.

10         On page 7, line 12, after the semicolon,

12  insert:
13         providing for an appropriation from the General
14         Revenue Fund to the One Church, One Child of
15         Florida Corporation for the purpose of funding
16         the activities of the corporation for the
17         2007-2008 fiscal year; providing an
18         appropriation from the General Revenue Fund to
19         the Department of Children and Family Services
20         for the purpose of contracting with the
21         corporation for the preparation of a business
22         plan; requiring that the business plan include
23         certain information; providing a deadline for
24         the completion and submission of the business
