11  The Committee on Transportation (Webster) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment (with directory and title amendments) 
15         On page 2, between lines 6 and 7,
16  
17  insert:  
18         (2)  As used in this section, the term "motor vehicle"
19  means a motor vehicle as defined in s. 316.003 that is
20  operated on the roadways, streets, and highways of the state.
21  The term does not include:
22         (b)  A bus or a passenger vehicle designed to
23  accommodate 10 or more persons used for the transportation of
24  persons for compensation, other than a bus regularly used to
25  transport children to or from school, as defined in s.
26  316.615(1)(b), or in conjunction with school activities.
