14 On page 5, between lines 2 and 3,

16 insert:
17 Section 2. Paragraph (i) of subsection (3) of section
18 409.91211, Florida Statutes, is amended to read:
19 409.91211 Medicaid managed care pilot program.--
20 (3) The agency shall have the following powers,
21 duties, and responsibilities with respect to the pilot
22 program:
23 (i) To implement a mechanism for providing information
24 to Medicaid recipients for the purpose of selecting a
25 capitated managed care plan. For each plan available to a
26 recipient, the agency, at a minimum, shall ensure that the
27 recipient is provided with:
28 1. A list and description of the benefits provided.
29 2. Information about cost sharing.
30 3. Plan performance data, if available.
31 4. An explanation of benefit limitations.

1 5. Contact information, including identification of
2 providers participating in the network, geographic locations,
3 and transportation limitations.
4 6. Standards for granting services in excess of the
5 plans' caps.
6 7. The preferred drug list, including a listing of
7 covered drugs according to the same therapeutic classification
8 used in the agency's preferred drug list, and utilization
9 review criteria for granting coverage of drugs that are not on
10 the preferred drug list.
11 8. Information concerning transitional and ongoing
12 coverage.
13 9.6. Any other information the agency determines would
14 facilitate a recipient's understanding of the plan or
15 insurance that would best meet his or her needs.
