  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Transportation Regional

  3         Incentive Program within the Department of

  4         Transportation; amending s. 339.2819, F.S.;

  5         deleting a limit on the percentage of matching

  6         funds which may be provided to local

  7         governmental entities under the program;

  8         providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  Subsection (2) of section 339.2819, Florida

13  Statutes, is amended to read:

14         339.2819  Transportation Regional Incentive Program.--

15         (2)  The percentage of matching funds provided from the

16  Transportation Regional Incentive Program shall be 50 percent

17  of project costs, or up to 50 percent of the nonfederal share

18  of the eligible project cost for a public transportation

19  facility project.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.
