A bill to be entitled
2An act relating to trespass on commercial premises;
3creating s. 810.091, F.S.; providing that a person may not
4remain on commercial premises held open to the public
5following an order to leave on specified grounds;
6providing an effective date.

8Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10     Section 1.  Section 810.091, Florida Statutes, is created
11to read:
12     810.091  Trespass on commercial premises.--For purposes of
13s. 810.08 or s. 810.09, a person may not lawfully remain on any
14property or in any structure that is held open to the public
15generally for commercial purposes after the owner or the owner's
16agent orders the person to leave the premises on the ground that
17the person is engaged in activity deemed by the owner or the
18owner's agent to be detrimental to the commercial purposes for
19which the premises is held open to the public.
20     Section 2.  This act shall take effect October 1, 2007.
