| 8 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 9 |

| 10 | Section 1. Section 810.091, Florida Statutes, is created |
| 11 | to read: |
| 12 | 810.091 Trespass on commercial premises.--For purposes of |
| 13 | s. 810.08 or s. 810.09, a person may not lawfully remain on any |
| 14 | property or in any structure that is held open to the public |
| 15 | generally for commercial purposes after the owner or the owner's |
| 16 | agent orders the person to leave the premises on the ground that |
| 17 | the person is engaged in activity deemed by the owner or the |
| 18 | owner's agent to be detrimental to the commercial purposes for |
| 19 | which the premises is held open to the public. |
| 20 | Section 2. This act shall take effect October 1, 2007. |
