11  The Committee on Education Pre-K - 12 (Wise) recommended the
12  following amendment:

14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 32, lines 11-16, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         (f)  An eligible nonprofit scholarship-funding
19  organization that receives eligible contributions must provide
20  to the Auditor General and the Department of Education an
21  annual financial and compliance audit of its accounts and
22  records conducted by an independent certified public
23  accountant and in accordance with rules adopted by the Auditor
24  General. The audit must be conducted in compliance with
25  generally accepted auditing standards and must include a
26  report on financial statements presented in accordance with
27  generally accepted accounting principles set forth by the
28  American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for
29  not-for-profit organizations and a determination of compliance
30  with the statutory eligibility and expenditure requirements
31  set forth in this section. Audits must be provided to the
