  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to trust funds; creating the

  3         Audit and Warrant Clearing Trust Fund within

  4         the Department of Revenue; providing for

  5         sources of funds and purposes; providing for

  6         future review and termination or re-creation of

  7         the trust fund; providing an effective date.

  8  

  9  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

10  

11         Section 1.  (1)  The Audit and Warrant Clearing Trust

12  Fund is created within the Department of Revenue.

13         (2)  The fund is established for use as a depository

14  for audit receipts, warrant receipts, and governmental

15  leasehold receipts and for subsequent distributions to

16  appropriate entities and accounts.

17         (3)  In accordance with Section 19(f)(2), Article III

18  of the State Constitution, the Audit and Warrant Clearing

19  Trust Fund shall, unless terminated sooner, be terminated on

20  July 1, 2011. Before its scheduled termination, the trust fund

21  shall be reviewed as provided in s. 215.3206(1) and (2),

22  Florida Statutes.

23         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.
