11  The Committee on Regulated Industries (Geller) recommended the
12  following amendment:
13  
14         Senate Amendment 
15         On page 8, lines 10-18, delete those lines
16  
17  and insert:  
18         (6)  Income derived from video lottery operations is
19  not subject to s. 24.121. The allocation during each state
20  fiscal year of net terminal income derived from video lottery
21  games shall be as follows:
22         (a)  Fifty percent shall be remitted to the Video
23  Lottery Administration Trust Fund with up to the first billion
24  dollars for immediate transfer by the Chief Financial Officer
25  into the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund. All sums over 1
26  billion dollars shall be transferred pursuant to the General
27  Appropriations Act to be used solely in reduction of the
28  required local effort for all school districts as provided in
29  s. 1011.62(4).
30         (b)  Fifty-hundredths percent shall be paid by the
31  video lottery retailer to the department to administer and
