11  The Committee on Transportation and Economic Development
12  Appropriations (Diaz de la Portilla) recommended the following
13  amendment:

15         Senate Amendment 
16         On page 10, lines 3-13, delete those lines
17  
18  and insert:  
19         (a)  All new, untitled recreational vehicles that were
20  acquired from the manufacturer or distributor within 18 months
21  before the date of the notice of termination, cancellation, or
22  nonrenewal; that have not been used, except for demonstration
23  purposes; and that have not been altered or damaged, at 100
24  percent of the net invoice cost, including transportation,
25  less applicable rebates and discounts to the dealer. If any of
26  the repurchased vehicles is damaged, the amount due to the
27  dealer shall be reduced by the cost to repair the damaged
28  vehicle. Damage prior to delivery to the dealer does not
29  disqualify repurchase under this subsection;
