  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to the Wekiva Parkway

  3         Protection Act; amending s. 369.324, F.S.;

  4         requiring all agencies and local governments

  5         having responsibilities under the Wekiva

  6         Parkway Protection Act to make an annual

  7         progress report to the Legislature on or before

  8         a specified date; providing an effective date.

10  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

11  

12         Section 1.  Subsection (6) is added to section 369.324,

13  Florida Statutes, to read:

14         369.324  Wekiva River Basin Commission.--

15         (6)  By December 31, 2007, and annually thereafter on

16  or before December 31 of every year, each agency and local

17  government having responsibilities to implement the Wekiva

18  Parkway Protection Act shall report to the President of the

19  Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives on the

20  progress of implementing their responsibilities under the

21  Wekiva Parkway Protection Act.

22         Section 2.  This act shall take effect upon becoming a

23  law.
