  1                      A bill to be entitled

  2         An act relating to informational public

  3         meetings relating to power plant sites;

  4         amending s. 403.50663, F.S.; requiring that

  5         notice of an informational public meeting

  6         relating to the siting of a power plant be

  7         given to all parties no less than 7 calendar

  8         days before the meeting; providing an effective

  9         date.

11  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

12  

13         Section 1.  Subsection (3) of section 403.50663,

14  Florida Statutes, is amended to read:

15         403.50663  Informational public meetings.--

16         (3)  A local government or regional planning council

17  that intends to conduct an informational public meeting must

18  provide notice of the meeting to all parties not less than 7

19  calendar 5 days prior to the meeting.

20         Section 2.  This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.
