| 5 | Communications; providing for payment of per diem and |
| 6 | travel costs; providing an effective date. |

| 8 | Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: |
| 9 |
|
| 10 | Section 1. Paragraphs (a) and (e) of subsection (2) of |
| 11 | section 282.1095, Florida Statutes, are amended to read: |
| 12 | 282.1095 State agency law enforcement radio system and |
| 13 | interoperability network.-- |
| 14 | (2)(a) The Joint Task Force on State Agency Law |
| 15 | Enforcement Communications shall consist of 15 eight members, as |
| 16 | follows: |
| 17 | 1. A representative of the Division of Alcoholic Beverages |
| 18 | and Tobacco of the Department of Business and Professional |
| 19 | Regulation who shall be appointed by the secretary of the |
| 20 | department. |
| 21 | 2. A representative of the Division of Florida Highway |
| 22 | Patrol of the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles |
| 23 | who shall be appointed by the executive director of the |
| 24 | department. |
| 25 | 3. A representative of the Department of Law Enforcement |
| 26 | who shall be appointed by the executive director of the |
| 27 | department. |
| 28 | 4. A representative of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation |
| 29 | Commission who shall be appointed by the executive director of |
| 30 | the commission. |
| 31 | 5. A representative of the Division of Law Enforcement of |
| 32 | the Department of Environmental Protection who shall be |
| 33 | appointed by the secretary of the department. |
| 34 | 6. A representative of the Department of Corrections who |
| 35 | shall be appointed by the secretary of the department. |
| 36 | 7. A representative of the Division of State Fire Marshal |
| 37 | of the Department of Financial Services who shall be appointed |
| 38 | by the State Fire Marshal. |
| 39 | 8. A representative of the Department of Transportation |
| 40 | who shall be appointed by the secretary of the department. |
| 41 | 9. A representative of the Division of Emergency |
| 42 | Management who shall be appointed by the director of the |
| 43 | division. |
| 44 | 10. A representative of the Florida Police Chiefs |
| 45 | Association who shall be appointed by the president of the |
| 46 | association. |
| 47 | 11. A representative of the Florida Sheriffs Association |
| 48 | who shall be appointed by the president of the association. |
| 49 | 12. A representative of the Florida Fire Chiefs |
| 50 | Association who shall be appointed by the president of the |
| 51 | association. |
| 52 | 13. A representative of the Florida Police Benevolent |
| 53 | Association who shall be appointed by the president of the |
| 54 | association. |
| 55 | 14. A representative of the Florida Fraternal Order of |
| 56 | Police who shall be appointed by the president of the order. |
| 57 | 15. A representative of the Florida Professional |
| 58 | Firefighters Association who shall be appointed by the president |
| 59 | of the association. |
| 60 | (e) The per diem and travel expenses incurred by each |
| 61 | joint task force member listed in subparagraphs (a)1.-9. a |
| 62 | member of the joint task force in attending its meetings and in |
| 63 | attending to its affairs shall be paid pursuant to s. 112.061, |
| 64 | from funds budgeted to the state agency that the member |
| 65 | represents. The per diem and travel expenses incurred by each |
| 66 | joint task force member listed in subparagraphs (a)10.-15. in |
| 67 | attending its meetings and in attending to its affairs shall be |
| 68 | paid by the entity that the member represents. |
| 69 | Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007. |
