11 The Committee on Health Policy (Dawson) recommended the
12 following amendment:

14 Senate Amendment (with title amendment)
15 On page 3, between lines 10 and 11,

17 insert:
18 Section 6. Each public elementary, middle, and high
19 school in this state shall post in a conspicuous place in its
20 cafeteria and on the school website the nutritional value of
21 every meal served in the cafeteria. Such posting must be
22 accessible to a parent of each student. If a public
23 elementary, middle, or high school serves fried foods, such
24 fried foods must be fried in oils that are low in trans fatty
25 acids in order to reduce the development of health
26 abnormalities in children.
